February General Meeting

Greetings All, Kodiak Island Search and Rescue (KISAR) will hold a general meeting at 7:00 PM Thursday, Feb.16th, at the Bayside Training Center. 2012 dues of $25 are now payable, so please bring cash or your check book.
Our training this month will be at the National Weather Service (NWS) office at the aviation control tower. We will meet at Bayside and carpool from there as we have to go through security at the USCG gate. The NWS can only accommodate 12 – 15 people, so if more than that show up we may schedule another visit for those who can’t make it this time. This will be a chance to learn about Kodiak weather patterns and ask questions.

To increase public awareness of search and rescue trained volunteers and dog teams and provide informational and educational programs and demonstrations to institutions, agencies and community organizations.
