This weekend we partnered up with US Coast Guard to do some Helicopter training in the mountains around Kodiak. Purpose of this training was to get more familiarized with operating with the Cost Guard in a winter environment. KISAR spent the day practicing ingress/egress into helicopter while under power in a mountain landing scenario. Members also practiced being raised and lowered from helicopter in the rescue basket. Thanks to the the US Coast Guard for their partnership and including us in there training.
